Corona Virus Update

Parents and Friends:

As Illinois plans to "stay at home" until at least April 30th, we thought it was a good idea to let you know our plans moving forward.  We believe it is important to get all of us, but especially our kids, back to some sense of normalcy as soon as we can.  And Springtime/Summertime for kids means baseball. So as soon as we get the "all clear" that it is safe from Local, State, and Federal authorities, we want to have a plan in place to get things started.

We are going to do everything in our power to play baseball this season.  We have been discussing and are developing a plan based on lots of possible start dates and scenarios of how we will do it. A draft of those possible scenarios is in the works, and we will share it with you as soon as it is done.

This season, like a lot of things these days, might not end up looking exactly like seasons past, but we are going to figure it out.  We plan to remain in contact and keep you apprised of our planning so you know as we know what is going on.

Please don't hesitate to call the park at (815) 744-3771 or email us at [email protected] if you have questions. We will be posting any updates we have on our website at whitefordbaseball.com, we will be sending out emails like this one, and we will be posting information and links to information on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep you up to date.

Looking forward to seeing all of you as soon as we can!

Be healthy and stay safe,

The Whiteford Board
